Another banger from Yamamoto.
The “Misono Mika Main Story” on the cover indicates that this doujinshi is continuing what happened in Mika’s Momotalk story. Specifically, the last Momotalk where her swimsuit, that was bought as a gift from Sensei, is torn and thrown into trash bin by a group of bullies, Mika got into trouble, but in the end Sensei went and repaired her swimsuit and they swim together for a bit in the detached building’s swimming pool. All of what happened in this doujinshi, aside from the sex scenes, is referencing that Momotalk story. I definitely didn’t just read the story for the first time when finishing this book, I swear.
Competitive Swimsuit is great, isn’t it? I like the details Yamamoto made on Mika’s right strap(?), the one besides her armpits, that seems like a patch that was made during said Momotalk story. Talking about swimsuit, Yamamoto’s C106 book is about Mika’s Swimsuit from the last half-anniv summer event. We’ll be translating that, in one way or other, though if it’s not from commission we might get on it in a few months.

As mentioned in the credits page, the swimming part of the title emphasizes leisure and “playing” rather than sports. Think of it like being in a private pool with your friends (or lover, in this case) rather than an outing in public pool, but then again that might also be true depending on the context.
