Commentary

Shirayuri requested to work on some Ardan book, and this is what I could find on exh, so here we are.

Chiyo…

I only played uma right on JP release, and now only followed the characters through cultural osmosis and keeping up with Shirayuri and other friends’ posting about it on my timeline, so I can’t say much if what is in the book actually true to the game, the real life racing lore, or is just Fujimoto Setsuna-sensei’s fanwriting. Either way, I love this first part. Look forward for the second part’s translation in the future!

Fujimoto Setsuna-sensei already have an english translation for the title, When the Cherry Blossoms are in a Blizzard, but I think our translated title does the content more justice, if only by using a more flowery language.

I also put an upscale of the cover as a bonus, since I need to upscale it for credit page purpose; the original is only 600px-ish wide, if you didn’t notice.

Once we caught up with the commissions, I plan to put polls on our discord server so everyone can help decide what will be our next releases, based on our backlog and curated semi-randomly. Though for books with continuation like this, I’ll put it on the list automatically after a few months have passed so the series can finish faster.
