Punishment-roleplay sex ftw.
I experimented doing handwriting for most of the sfx, I hope it doesn’t look half-bad, though I do think it came out same-ish since I can’t do more varied writing yet orz.
TL note regarding the title, it is a bit redundant since 虜 (toriko) already means captive, prisoner or person in captivity, but also victim (of love) / slave (to lust) — adding 人 / person gives emphasis to the person in question and points to the former meaning rather than latter. Makes you think who is the one being captivated, since they’re just doing the bit as roleplay… Shirayuri suggested using “Captivated Captive”, playing on other meaning of captivated as being in love, but I personally think that is putting our words over the author’s too much. The group that translated this book as well, Literally Starving, seems to use the more literal translation as well. Just wanted you to know about this wordplay, since I am not good enough yet as a translator to translate this gracefully.
We probably need to work on our tardy translation pace at this point. One of the reason the commission is closed for now, and the other reason is one of the book we’re doing is quite long, the longest we’ve done so far.
