Commentary

Non-commissioned translation for once in a while.

Takashima Shoa’s Senseis really is something, huh? They always have a certain allure to them. Really shows how good Shoa’s storywriting is.

Atsuko’s dialogue are a bit tricky to convey. Her lines are sometimes vague, either via saying things non-specifically, or by saying things in a short manner. Not helping are that none of us speak English as their mother tongue (I believe I have a good enough qualification in it, but I certainly don’t have enough personal native exposure), so I hope you could cut us some slack here and there. Throw us suggestions and I’ll amend it asap.

One of such lines are on page 13 (014 in the filename), when Atsuko going to pass Whiskey? (idk much about alcohol) to Sensei mouth-to-mouth: 「。。。でもこういうモノなんでしょ？」 I hope the context are clear enough that you could infer it as Atsuko saying “…But this is what a drunken couple would do, right?”, or something along that line, while also replying to Sensei that doing that will make her drunk for real. Again, it feels in-character with how Atsuko herself would talk, so pointing out our interpretation would ruin the dialogue.

Also, we’re getting sniped again for Shoa doujin. insert IfIHadANickel.jpg Haven’t read the other translation, but the comments are confirming that it’s quite bad. Hopefully this could be a better alternative.
